If this is your first visit to Avalonia ... we bid you greetings from our little corner of the Welsh English borders and hope that you will find what you are looking for here, or at least enjoy the articles and other resources on offer on this website. If you have been before, welcome back!
We are as always working, writing and researching - we are very happy that two of our projects have recently been published - "Visions of the Cailleach" and the forthcoming "Hekate Liminal Rites" - both available from our sister site Avalonia Books. Both of us will be speaking at this years "Ludlow Esoteric Conference" in Shropshire, England and we are looking forward to it, it will also be our last event for a year as we have decided to take some "time out" from public events for a while - this is for a variety of reasons, we are parents of a young toddler, so its not that practical and we wanted to have some more time to focus on some of the research and practical experiments we are conducting.
We will still of course be active online - especially at www.sorita.co.uk and www.ritualmagick.co.uk - which are our respective websites and blogs.
..... we hope you enjoy your Summer (or Winter if you are on the other side of the globe!)

It is likely that if you found your way here that you are looking for either information on the Western Mystery Tradition or on the Wiccan Tradition as Avalonia has long been a popular destination for both these, we are also developing our other sections at the moment and you will find a number of interesting articles written by Sorita d'Este and David Rankine under the links provided on the menu (right). You can also use the Search Avalonia function if you have come here for something specific. In 2006 we changed this site significantly and we no longer facilitate the community forums or events we did between 2000 - 2006/7. However we hope that the articles and other resources provided here will still be useful to you. Much smaller than it used to be, but also hopefully a higher quality of content!
